Since moving to South Wales, Jamie Wake has become passionate about energy efficiency. Having moved from a new build in Reading with low energy consumption and low bills, he was shocked to see such a vast difference in his new much older home.
Jamie's journey saw him install solar panels and add internal insulation in an attempt to reduce his bills but this also sparked an interest in wanting to understand energy efficiency in greater detail. This led to him training to be a Domestic Energy Assessor and then subsequently train as a Retrofit Assessor.
Jamie has a number of strings to his bow which include Chocolate Making, Hosting Karaoke and Glamping. Wake Enterprises Limited was formed to provide a home and structure for them all.
Jamie sought to make the process of obtaining an EPC as EZ as possible!
Most EPC's are arranged through large companies and call centres or through EPC panels which often lack the personal touch.
